As a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), Rachel is passionate about supporting the Deaf community and promoting social justice and equity among all people. Her education in Social Work taught her how to identify the systemic factors that contribute to inequality and trained her to support individuals as they navigate the system or strive to change it. Rachel currently works as a program evaluation professional, helping Dallas area nonprofits understand their programs’ outcomes and engage in continuous improvement to reach their intended goals. She draws on her experience in social work and as a program evaluator to support Deaf Action Center’s mission and promote the effectiveness of DAC’s programs.
